2014-04-18 – On April 7-9, 2014, AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) held its annual International Conference and Annual Meeting (ICAM), the organization’s largest and most anticipated event of the year. Gathering professionals from the top business schools worldwide, ICAM introduced and explored industry topics through new and thought-provoking perspectives. CKGSB Founding Dean Xiang Bing attended the event and spoke about CKGSB’s innovative approach to education.

Dr. Xiang Bing, Founding Dean and a Professor of Chinese Business and Globalization at Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business (CKGSB), spoke earlier this month at AACSB’s International Conference and Annual Meeting (ICAM) in Singapore, the largest gathering of the year for global business schools. At the conference, Dean Xiang discussed CKGSB’s innovations and experiments, with a specific focus on the school’s incorporation of humanities into the curriculum to introduce a longer term perspective, its “top of the pyramid” approach to business education, and its aim of initiating a global learning platform with two-way traffic between east and west. He was joined on stage by Mark Zupan, Dean of the Simon Business School at the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York.

ICAM Singapore was the 98th annual meeting of AACSB, the oldest and most recognized business school association in the world. It was attended by more than 1000 business school delegates from 55 countries and 577 institutions.
